Africa remains home to world’s poor despite growth, says Lopez

Africa has remained home to the world’s highest proportion of poor people despite its unprecedented growth over the past decade, according to Dr. Carlos Lopes, Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA).
