Taking place at the Maritim Hotel, Königswinter, the conference will bring together representatives from science, politics, business and civil society, to discuss driving forces and challenges with respect to accelerating the transformation towards sustainability. Especially, the key sectors of energy, transportation and land use which need major transformations.

The Conference is supported by Stiftung Mercator, the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety, the Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Stiftung Internationale Begegnung of Sparkasse in Bonn.
